Overton Playgroup has been in the heart of the village of Overton for over 25 years providing quality care and education to local children through our qualified and experienced staff.
Overton Preschool and Playgroup run different session times from two different settings. Overton Playgroup runs morning session times at Overton Community Centre for children aged from 2 years 6 months. Overton Preschool runs afternoon sessions at the Community Centre and both morning and afternoon sessions at Overton C of E Primary School for children in their preschool year.
We are registered with Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education) and are a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance, an educational charity that provides help, support and training for pre-schools. We are a charity, registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales and run by a voluntary Parent Management Committee.
Both the Community Centre and Overton Preschool settings have had very successful OFSTED inspections in June 2011, June 2010 and March 2007, when we were awarded 'Outstanding' in all areas. This is the top grade that OFSTED awards and we are the only pre-school establishment in this area to have achieved such a fantastic result!
